The Human Resource Professional certificate at North Greenville University prepares you for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification exams, including both the Certified Professional (CP) and Senior Certified Professional (SCP). In addition, the certificate carries the weight of 12 graduate school credits for courses completed with a grade of C or higher from the North Greenville University Graduate School of Business.
The certificate consists of four courses in a fully online format:
- BUSN 5341: Talent Management (3 credit hours)
- BUSN 5342: Total Rewards (3 credit hours)
- BUSN 5343: Global HR (3 credit hours)
- BUSN 5344: HR Strategic Planning (3 credit hours)
These courses cover many immediately applicable topics including business management; compensation and benefits management; employee and labor relations; global human resources management; professional development; retention practices; risk management; selection practices; strategic human resources; training practices; and workforce planning and employment.
